Hi there movie makers,

As you may know, we've had a Private option on your movies for awhile to prevent strangers from seeing what you don't want to share. This Private feature worked so well, even the owner of a Private movie couldn't see it!

Hehe .. yeah, oops!

Well we''ve finally fixed that for you, so now go ahead and Privatize your personal daily affirmations, your lovey-dovey messages to your sweethearts, and your private plans for world domination. Happily, you can still share these movies via YouTube, embed codes, and our Share tool. Your Private movies will be safely hidden to other visitors and users of xtranormal.com.

New Features added to www.xtranormal.com!

Xtranormal is pleased to announce our first major update to the portal. Along with resolving some stability issues and a large number of bug fixes, you will also discover the following new features:

New Actors

New Sets

New Animations

New Sound Effects

New Music

New Emotions

Self Registration

New Actors and Sets

Our worlds keep on growing! We have added a new style of characters and environments to help keep your creativity going. You can access the new actors and sets by going to the Make Movies tab and selecting one, or two actors to start making your movie. Once you are in the Movie Maker, you can choose from any of the new sets.

New Animations, Emotions, Sound Effects and Music

Bring your actors to life with a new set of animations and facial expressions. Give your movies the right mood with new background music and sound effects.

Self Registration

We have now opened up to a full public beta, which means, in short, that you can now choose your own user name and password on registration.
Note to existing beta users: We are currently working on a way for you to change your existing user name. We hope to have that fix available soon.
Registration is now open to anyone, so feel free to invite your family and friends!

Known Issues:

Some older movies using older animations, sets, and sounds may not load correctly when you click Remix. Some of these actions no longer exist and will appear in parenthesis within your dialogue blocks. We are currently working on a solution to convert older movies to be compatible with our new environments. We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to have a fix available soon.

How can you help?
We need your feedback to help make this site even better. We've put together some hints to help you help us. More...

First of all, have fun. Explore this site, and learn all of the cool things you can do here. It's not just about making movies, it's about interacting with other people's creations. Take the time to rate movies, leave comments, build your own playlists and add to your favorites list. All of these features are central to our goal of not only deploying a website, but building a community.

While you explore and play, take the time to provide feedback:

Go deep. Try everything. You may be surprised how much you can do, besides just making movies.
When you provide feedback, give us with as much information as you can. (What were you trying to do? What did you expect to happen? What were all the steps you took?
Report bugs using our bug submission form. For this preliminary beta, we are primarily concerned with the movie-maker itself.
Request features or enhancements using ourfeature request submission form. No limits. Don't hold back.
Contribute to the discussions in our discussion forums. These aren't just technical discussions. You can talk about movies you like, ideas you have for movie-making activities, anything goes.

We need your feedback. We know you're all busy, but any time you can spare to share your thoughts with us, or to isolate and fix problems will help us succeed when we go to market.
